Teflon®

Teflon® is the registered trade name of the highly useful plastic material polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). PTFE is one of a class of plastics known as fluoropolymers. It is ideal for applications that require a wide  temperature range (-400°F and 450°F). Teflon® also has a very low friction coefficient, low flammability, high insulation value, high chemical resistance, is waterproof, and also is easy to clean.
