Silicone

Silicone is perhaps the most universally recognized rubber due to its incredibly versatile nature. It is available in a variety of forms, such as a liquid caulk, solid rubber, expanded silicone, sponge, and foam. Phoenix Associates manufactures custom gaskets from these more common forms, but also converts specialty seals from electrically conductive silicone and chemical resistant fluorosilicone. Regardless of variety, such gaskets are a great option for extreme temperatures (-100°F to 500°F) and for UV and ozone resistance. Silicone seals are popular in all industries, but are most prevalent in the medical, electronics, and HVAC fields.
