Poron®

Poron® is a high-density polyurethane foam that's used for sealing, insulation, and cushioning. This durable, open cell foam has strong compression set resistance, which makes it a good choice for shock absorption and impact protection. Many open cell foams will not rebound efficiently, causing poor performance in the long run. Poron®, on the other hand, is known for its superior resistance to taking a set. This allows the material to continue to perform in the required application over the the lifetime of the device. As such, Poron® is a common gasket material for protecting vital electronic components from vibration and impact.
