Natural Gum Rubber

Gum Rubber is the original, natural latex collected from rubber trees and has many great characteristics.  It has superior resilience, high resistance to tear and abrasion, impressive tensile strength, and good compression set. This material is usually manufactured in softer durometers (30 to 50) and fits applications that require some stretch in the gasket. This can make for a more challenging manufacturing process, but Phoenix Associates has many years of experience in cutting and converting Gum Rubber.
