Head Presses

Head presses come in a couple of different varieties. At Phoenix Associates, we work with both travelling-head and stationary presses. This gives us the versatility to tackle multiple jobs simultaneously and offers tailor-made solutions for our customers. Dies for these presses are relatively inexpensive, yet yield high quality parts from a variety of materials. Typically, this equipment is used for jobs with smaller quantities, or for prototyping purposes. However, they utilize multi-cavity dies to retain efficiency at higher volumes, especially with smaller parts. Another benefit is the impressive size these units can accommodate. Our stationary head press can handle parts up to 30"W x 62"L, while our travelling-head press is used for parts up to 26"W x 26"L. Please contact us to discuss the best solution for your project.
