Heat Activated Tape
Heat Activated Tape (HAT) is an adhesive that is bound to rubber or foam using heat and pressure. It creates an extremely durable bond that essentially welds the tape to an extrusion. This manufacturing method is most often seen in door and window seals that will experience temperature swings and repeated use. Our products are used in applications from yacht bulkheads/portholes to oilfield seals. Phoenix Associates uses genuine 3M HAT to ensure the highest quality bond and longest lasting products. We can apply tape to your own extrusion, or can source material from our vast network of suppliers. Please contact us with any questions or for additional information.
